    Projector Light Status

    The lights on the projector indicate the projector status and let you know when a problem occurs. Check the status and color of the lights and look for a solution in the table here.

    1 WLAN (wireless LAN) light
    2 Filter light
    3 Temp (temperature) light
    4 Laser light
    5 Status light
    6 On/Standby (power) light
    On/Standby (power) light Status light Laser light Temp light Filter light Status and solution
    Blue Off Off Off Off Standby, sleep mode, or network monitoring and control
    Blue Flashing blue Off Off Off Warming up or cooling down. Wait for about 30 seconds for an image to appear. All control panel buttons are disabled.
    Blue Blue Off Off Off Normal operation.
    Flashing blue Off Off Off Off Preparing for network monitoring or quick startup mode. All features are disabled.
    Off Flashing blue Flashing orange Off Off Internal error. Turn off the projector, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and contact Epson for help.
    Off Flashing blue Off Flashing orange Off A fan or sensor has a problem. Turn the projector off, unplug it, and contact Epson for help.
    Off Flashing blue Off Orange Off Projector has overheated and turned off. Leave it turned off to cool down for five minutes.
    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Make sure the room temperature is not too hot.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • If operating the projector at high altitude, turn on High Altitude Mode.
    • If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for help.
    Off Flashing blue Orange Off Off Laser has a problem.
    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for help.
    Off Flashing blue Off Off Orange Low air flow through the projector.
    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for help.
    Varies Varies Flashing orange Varies Varies The projector is unable to maintain constant brightness. The Constant Brightness setting is disabled.
    Varies Flashing blue Flashing orange Varies Varies Refresh mode is in progress.
    Flashing blue Varies Varies Flashing orange Varies High temperature warning. If the temperature gets too high, projection automatically stops.
    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Make sure the room temperature is not too hot.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    Flashing blue Varies Flashing orange Varies Varies Laser warning. Turn the projector off, unplug it, and contact Epson for help.
    Flashing blue Varies Varies Varies Orange Low air flow through the air filter.
    • Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
    • Clean or replace the air filter.
    • If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for help.

    Flashing blue (slow) An error occurred. Turn off the projector, then restart it.
