Support Projectors BrightLink Series Epson BrightLink 1485Fi

How do I use my projector's touch screen if I set up an extended desktop on my Chromebook?

  • You'll need to calibrate the display, press the User button on the projector's remote control, and then do the following:

    1. On your Chromebook, open the Chrome browser and enter chrome://flags in the address bar.

    2. Search for the Enable/disable touchscreen calibration option in material design settings option, select Enabled, and then close your browser.

Note: To easily find the setting, search for Calibration in the Search flags field.

    3. Restart your Chromebook, and log back in to your Chromebook.
    4. Select Settings > Device > Displays, then set the order of your Displays.

    5. Select EPSON PJ, then press the down arrow key on your Chromebook's keyboard.

    6. Select Calibrate touchscreen.

    7. Use the projector's interactive pen to tap the targets (circles) projected on-screen. Follow the instructions to tap the targets for each corner of the screen. When you're done, the message Calibration is complete will appear on-screen.

Note: The Easy Interactive Tools software is not available for Android or Chromebook. There are other interactive whiteboard applications available in the Google Play store.
