Support Projectors PowerLite Series Epson PowerLite EB-L520W

How can I improve the image quality?

  • Make sure you select the best Color Mode for your picture and viewing environment, then use the settings in the Image menu to finish adjusting the picture.

If the projected image is fuzzy or blurry, adjust the image focus.

Adjust the Sharpness, Brightness, Contrast, and Color Saturation settings in the Image menu.

For best results, connect your video equipment to theHDMI 1 or HDMI 2 port(s). If your equipment doesn't support HDMI, connect it to one of the following ports (highest quality listed first):

    • HDBaseT with a 100Base-TX LAN cable
    • Computer1 or Computer2/Monitor Out with a VGA-to-component adapter cable (for component video)

If you are viewing a video from a source connected to the projector's Video port, adjust the MPEG Noise Reduction, Deinterlacing and Noise Reduction settings, if available for your video source.

Note: The Noise Reduction setting is not available if you have selected an interlaced (480i/576i/1080i) input signal.

If you are projecting from a computer, adjust the computer's resolution to match the projector's native resolution, if possible.

Note: Digital correction features such as keystone, Quick Corner, zooming, and scaling can reduce the image quality. To improve the image quality, set these features to their factory defaults, and refocus the image.

If your projector is mounted, make sure the Epson mount adjustment dials are used to level or square your image.
