Can I monitor or control my product over a network?

  • Yes, you can control and monitor the projector over a network by using the Epson Projector Management Utility software (Windows only). You can also control the projector with the Epson iProjection app for for Chromebooks, Android or iOS, or by using a web browser on a Windows computer, Mac, or mobile device to access the projector's Web Control screen. For Chromebooks, the Chrome OS must support Android apps.

    To control the projector through a web browser, connect your device to your network, start your web browser, and enter the projector's IP address in the browser's address bar. The Web Control screen appears. On this screen, you can control different features, including the input source and projector settings. You can also control the projector from different operating systems on the same network.

    If you are prompted for a username and password, try entering the following:

    • User ID: EPSONWEB
    • Default password: Projector's serial number (All letters must be entered in upper case)

    If you set Standby Mode to Communication On, you can use the Epson Projector Management Utility software or a web browser to select settings and control projection even if the projector is in standby mode. Also make sure to set the Port setting to Wireless LAN or Wired LAN, depending on your connection type.

    Note: Your projector and computer or mobile device must be connected to the same network. Not all settings and projector functions can be controlled using a web browser or the Epson iProjection app.
