Support Projectors Q Series Epson EH-QB1000B

How can I improve the image quality?

  • Check the following:

    • Make sure you select the best Color Mode for your picture and viewing environment, then use the settings in the Image menu to finish adjusting the picture.
    • If the projected image is fuzzy or blurry, adjust the image focus.
    • Make sure the projector is placed at the proper distance from the screen. Use the Projection Distance Calculator to determine how far to place the projector from the screen.
    • Turn on the Dynamic Contrast setting in the projector's Image menu.
    • You can use the Frame Interpolation setting to smooth fast-moving video by comparing consecutive image frames and inserting an intermediate image from between them.
    • If you are projecting from a computer, adjust the computer's resolution to match the projector's native resolution, if possible.

Note: Digital correction features such as keystone, Quick Corner, and zooming can reduce the image quality. For the best quality images, try to adjust the projector's position to achieve the correct image size and shape before using digital correction methods.

    • To optimize the color tone according to the scene and to make the image more vivid, correct the image by adjusting the Scene Adaptive Gamma setting.
    • If you are projecting low-resolution images, you can use the Super-resolution setting to sharpen blurry edges.
    • You can use the Panel Alignment setting to manually adjust the color convergence (the alignment of the red and blue colors) in the projected image.
