My Windows 8 system automatically installed an in-box driver (Print Class driver) for my older Epson printer. How do I update my product driver?

• Download and install Windows 7 driver for your product if available.
  1. Go to the Epson support page, select your product category, then select your product name.
  2. Select Downloads, then select Drivers.
  3. Select the available Printer Driver, then select Download Now.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

  Important: You may get a Program Compatibility Assistant dialog window when installing the Windows 7 driver on your Windows 8 system.

  

  It is normal for the Program Compatibility Assistant dialog window to appear. Click Run the program without getting help and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

  Note: Please check back with Epson support periodically to see if a new Windows 8 driver is available for download.
