My scanner is not listed on the Epson support page for Microsoft Windows 8. How can I use it with Windows 8?

• If your scanner is not listed on our Microsoft Windows 8 Support page, Windows 8 scanner software is not available for your scanner. However, you can use Windows 7 scanner software (if available) with Windows 8. Download and install the Windows 7 scanner software for your product.
  1. Go to our main support page and select your product.
  2. Select Downloads.
  3. Download the Drivers and Utilities Combo Package software.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

  Important: You may get a Program Compatibility Assistant dialog window when installing the Windows 7 driver on your Windows 8 system.

  This is normal. Click Run the program without getting help and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
