The Program Compatibility Assistant window keeps appearing after I upgraded to Windows 8.1. What should I do?

• Do the following when the window appears:
  1. Click Close to close the window, then go to the Printer Driver Updater for Windows 8.1 page.

     

  2. Select Accept when you see the following screen. The software patch will download to your computer. Make a note of the file name and its location so you can retrieve it.

  

  3. Run the software.
