Section 508 Regulation - VPAT
In 1998, Congress amended Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 to require Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology (EIT) accessible to people with disabilities. The standards define electronic and information technology, in part, as "any equipment or interconnected system or subsystem of equipment, that is used in the creation, conversion, or duplication of data or information." Epson supports the efforts of the federal government in making technology accessible for people with disabilities and is committed to assisting government customers to conform to Section 508. As such, Epson offers many products that meet Section 508 Standards. To obtain a Section 508 document (VPAT) outlining accessibility information for your product category, please email us by going to your product's support page and clicking the "Contact Us" tab or by calling (562) 276-1300 (press 1, then follow the prompts to get to the product category you are inquiring about) and the information will be provided to you as quickly as possible.
