Setting up a Direct Wireless Connection
Before setting up a direct wireless connection, make sure that both your iOS device and Epson projector have Wi-Fi enabled. See your projector documentation for more information on enabling your product's Wi-Fi connection.
- Tap the Settings icon on your iOS device's Home screen.
- Tap Wi-Fi to open the Wi-Fi Networks menu.
- Tap your Projector's SSID in the list of available wireless networks.
- Return to your iOS device's Home screen and open the iProjection App by tapping the iProjection icon.
- Tap Projector to open the Select Projector menu.
- Tap the name of your projector in the list of available projectors.
- Tap OK when prompted to confirm the connection to the projector.
Your iOS device and Epson projector are now connected. See the Using the iProjection for iOS App page for more information.
Setting up a Direct Wireless Connection Using a QR Code
You can display a QR code on your projector's display to quickly enable a wireless connection with your iOS device. Before setting up a direct wireless connection, make sure that both your iOS device and Epson projector have Wi-Fi enabled. See your projector documentation for more information on enabling your projector’s Wi-Fi connection and displaying a QR code.
- Tap the iProjection icon on your iOS device's Home screen.
- Tap Projector to open the Search Projector menu.
- Tap Read QR code.
- Point your device's camera at the QR code on your projector display; the QR code is read automatically.
- Tap OK to register your projector’s Wi-Fi profile.
- Tap Install to install your projector’s Wi-Fi profile.
- Tap Install Now at the Unsigned Profile notification.
- Tap Done to exit the Profile Installed screen.
- Tap OK to confirm the connection to the projector.
- Note the projector network name (SSID) shown on your device's screen.
- Return to your iOS device’s Home screen and tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Wi-Fi to open the Wi-Fi Networks menu.
- Tap your projector's SSID in the list of available devices.
