Welcome to the next generation in digital label printing that is Sure to Impress™: the SurePress^® L-6534VW. This highly automated press comes with high-pigment, low-migration LED UV curing ink that eliminates the need for precoating a substrate and can be used with standard flexo substrates. The L-6534VW prints labels up to 13.4" wide as fast as 164 ft/min. Incorporating PrecisionCore^® printhead technology, the press’s center drum system is a space-saving, compact design integrating functions required for production such as corona treatment, White Ink, digital varnish, web cleaner, ionizer and an additional UV curing unit—all standard. Automation of the L-6534VW, including nozzle maintenance, helps keep productivity high, total cost of ownership low, and press operation simple.

Image quality

Epson-developed pinning technology controls the range of ink scattering and realizes ultra sharp dots and incredibly thin lines. In addition, the L-6534VW produces Epson-quality labels that deliver a wide color gamut, tonal gradation, flat print and lack of graininess using Epson ink. The printer includes high-opacity White Ink that can be reverse-printed; and with Digital Varnish Ink, both gloss- and matte-finish spot varnishes can be applied to the same label. SurePress inks comply with FCM and GMP regulations and standards of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA).
