Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, Colorful Picture! I've only had it for a short while, however.. I must say, this projector produces a very bright, colorful picture. I run an amazon fire TV thru the HDMI port and my fire tv is connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The picture is pretty amazing. It works well in my normally lit room. I use it to watch TV and we also use it for our outdoor cinema. Outdoors we project onto a 135" screen. We currently love this little thing. easy to move around, love the picture.. and the lack of sound output, not an issue for us since our source is Bluetooth capable :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use with great brightness I bought this projector to use for a class I teach in Sunday school in a medium size room. I'm able to use the power point without dimming the lights which is easier on everyones' eyes, and lets me see my notes clearly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Projector This is a great Projector, I have it ceiling mounted in our family room, I use it every day for the kids when they are playing, the picture quality is great the clarity and brightness is excellent, I have a 5 way HDMI switch with audio in that I have everything connected to and then 1 HDMI going to the projector, this way we can use all of our systems and hook up surround sound without having to swap cables. Great projector, if you take the time to figure out everything you need it makes a great home cinema/entertainment center.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought it for a portable "movie night" system- Impressive! I bought this unit as part of my fully portable video system. I've used nearly every brand of audio-visual products in my 25 years of work as a public school district electronic technician. Epson has regularly produced some of the better quality projectors, and if you are seeking one with a specific feature, you're sure to find something in this line. Like I said, I was building a fully portable setup to use for movie night with my daughter's soccer team. I use a Gemmy 123 x 70 screen, and a Sony SR510H player. The Sony is not true 1080p, but it has HDMI for video and L/R analog audio outs, which I needed, because I connect this to a set of full-range powered loudspeakers for boosting the sound to match the high-quality projected image! This Epson puts out great colors, both primary and secondary, right out of the box (although I did tweak the saturation levels to my taste). The picture is sharp all the way out to the edges, and in a low light environment, the dark scenes have plenty of contrast to bring out the images. As a professional technician, I can tell you the audience was happy. How do I know? The kids became quiet during the movie. The adults could easily see/hear the show from over 40 feet away. That's 3 dozen people in one backyard. I would not hesitate to recommend this Epson for either a budget or a mid-level system. I saw no advantage to spending several hundred dollars more for a true 1080p projector, UNLESS you have a collection of Blu-Ray movies and a player to match. In my case, I get requests from others to play their disc, and most are simple widescreen discs. Bottom line, no one but a movie snob will notice the difference, or care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time use, easy to use, quick start setup was easy Runs a little hot, slight fan noise but apart from that for the money, this is an excellent projector. Smaller than a lot of Epson models I'm used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Purchased for $400.00 + tax at Best Buy, which I feel is a very good value because I couldn't hardly tell that it isn't 1080p. Watched the final Rogue One space battle scene and it looked great.
